Cleanroom Cleaning Services

Cleanroom Cleaning Services for ISO-Classified Environments

A cleanroom is only as controlled as the people who enter it. Our technicians are gowning-trained, work to written protocols, and document every visit — because in a classified environment, undocumented cleaning is the same as no cleaning.

Why General Janitorial Fails in a Cleanroom

Standard commercial cleaning introduces exactly what a cleanroom is built to exclude. Cotton mops shed. Consumer disinfectants leave residue. An untrained technician gowns incorrectly, wipes in the wrong direction, or brings a cart through an airlock and undoes the room’s classification in minutes.

Cleanroom cleaning is a controlled process: non-shedding ISO-rated wipes and mops, directional wiping from cleanest to least clean, unidirectional workflow, validated agents, and a documented record of what was done and when. The cleaning either protects your classification or quietly destroys it.

What We Do

  • Routine classified cleaning — floors, walls, ceilings, work surfaces and pass-throughs, on your validated frequency.
  • Gowning and airlock areas — the highest-risk transition zones in the facility.
  • Non-shedding materials only — ISO-rated wipes, mops and consumables.
  • Directional protocol — cleanest to least clean, unidirectional, no cross-contamination paths.
  • Documentation — per-visit records suited to audit and change-control requirements.
  • Shutdown and turnaround support — deep cleans inside scheduled downtime windows.

Environments We Support

Pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing · Medical device assembly · Semiconductor and electronics · Aerospace and precision optics · Research and university laboratories · Compounding pharmacies

How We Work With Your Team

We work to your SOPs, not ours. Your validated protocols govern. We train to them and document against them.

Our people, not subcontractors. A cleanroom is not a place for rotating unknown labor. The same trained, screened Direct Clean employees work your environment.

Scheduled around your downtime. Classified spaces have narrow windows. We build to them.

Our owner, not a franchise. Founded 1988, still owner-operated.

Frequently Asked Questions

What ISO classes do you clean?

We support ISO-classified environments across the range commonly found in pharmaceutical, medical device and electronics manufacturing. We work to your facility’s validated protocols for its classification rather than applying a generic standard.

Are your technicians gowning-trained?

Yes. Technicians assigned to classified environments are trained in gowning and de-gowning procedure and in directional cleaning protocol before they enter your space.

Do you document each cleaning?

Yes. Every visit is documented in a form suited to audit and change-control review. In a classified environment, undocumented work cannot be relied on.

Do you use your own materials or ours?

Either. Many facilities require validated consumables from an approved list — we’ll use yours. Where you don’t specify, we supply non-shedding ISO-rated wipes and mops.

Can you work during a scheduled shutdown?

Yes. Turnaround and shutdown windows are when most deep cleanroom work happens, and we staff to them.

Do you also clean data centers?

Yes. See our Data Center Cleaning page for raised-floor, subfloor and rack-safe dust control.
